Half Dome - Star Trails
This image was a nearly 30 minute single exposure. Digital cameras generate thermal noise in the form of light on the image. On this image it is visible as the green glow in the upper left corner. The orginal was much worse, however I used a technique called dark frame subtraction to minimize the effect. While the picture is not perfect, I am still pleased with the result.
